A little bit about us...
Matt is from Ohio, Audrey is from Colorado.
We met in college in 2006 and were married August 2009.
In 2010 we moved from Colorado to Ohio to be with Matt's family as his younger brother, Jonathan, battled through cancer.
After losing Jonathan in March 2011, we planned a trip to India to disperse funds given at Jonathan's funeral that he had asked go to India. The trip was also a vision trip for us--to see if we could find a good fit with a Christian organization to possibly work long term with in India.
In July 2013 we left for India--through a turn of events, a few months later we found ourselves in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Through a friend we connected with Faithful Heart Foundation and felt a tug of real interest and a love for the orphan care model they have established--family-style orphan care.
In December 2013 we returned to the USA excited about the possibility of returning to Chiang Mai and working with FHF. Through a year of rest and prayer, we made our decision to join FHF.
In February 2015 we packed our bags, sold and gave away everything else and moved to Thailand.
We welcomed our sweet baby boy, Ezra Jonathan, in August 2016...and sweet Sienna Faye in October 2018!
Over the years here in Thailand we have been growing a love for the people and the Thai culture. God is here and oh, how he loves these people too! We eagerly look forward to the work God is doing here in Thailand--at Faithful Heart Foundation and in our own hearts. He is healing broken places and making beautiful new things from the ashes....amen!
