An Interesting Opportunity: LAND

A couple representing another Christian foundation in Thailand
approached Faithful Heart with an offer to sell a piece of land that had
previously been purchased for ministry with tribal children. This was not something we sought out, but
they have offered to sell the land to us at less than half their actual cost,
and less than a third of the current value.
It is 5.5 acres of land, just 20 minutes from our current office.
The price is $65,000 (USD).

It is an interesting opportunity because it could allow future possibilities for expanding Faithful Heart's ministries here in Thailand. We could
one day build a college dorm, or a ministry home, or an office space, as well
as have land to farm with our families.
But it is also an intimidating prospect.
It would require a tremendous amount of work, money, and time to
undertake such a big project. But the
opportunity is before us, and we are seeking God’s will in this matter.
Is
this something He wants us to pursue?
Would this land help us, or hinder us as we seek to rescue more
children? Would you pray with us about
this opportunity?
If God is in this, we
trust He will provide the money in the required time; and if not, we will trust
this is not His plan for us.

Reach Foundation Land
Reach Foundation offers for sale 14+ Rai of land referenced by previous email land titles sent to Matthew Pound. This is an exclusive discounted price offered only to Faithful Heart Foundation for a specific amount of time to be arranged between Faithful Heart and Reach Foundation.
Sale Price:
Sale price is 2,215,000 Thai baht. The sale price is net to Reach Foundation. All closing costs, including those normally paid by the seller, are to be paid by buyer. This includes all due diligence costs, legal fees, transfer fees, taxes, real estate commissions (if any are owed) and any other fees associated with the completion of the sale of the property.
Buyer is encouraged to inspect the land and complete due diligence evaluation as deemed necessary.
Conditions of the sale:
Reach Foundation places no conditions on the buyer as to use of the land or the future sale of the property. Should Faithful Heart Foundation successfully complete this purchase transaction, it is free to use and to proceed in the best interest of the future vision of Faithful Heart Foundation.

General information:
Reach Foundation and its many stakeholders invested approximately 5.2 million baht in the purchase of this land. This purchase was initiated in 2007.
Personal note:
This offer represents the sacrifice and prayers of hundreds of individual donors who through the years have contributed to the investment and vision that caused this land to be purchased. The stakeholder group, in effect, with the sale of this property to Faithful Heart Foundation, will realize the germination of that vision held dormant for these many years. This land was "prayer walked" with tears and passion and joy to help the plight of needy children giving them a hope and a future found in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Our desire is that this sales price will mean several things. It will be easier to raise the money for the initial purchase, allowing more resources to be available for development, and to possibility make farming the land more sustainable.
